You will work with a team that is growing our Design System to deliver intuitive, attractive experiences by default in the Platform and focusing on creating modern patterns that scale to every surface. You will be working on a team that is building world class developer tooling and documentation and building a centralised Design System that we’ll provide clear, comprehensive resources for everyone building with the Design System on Workday. To deliver on this desire we are expanding our Research and Design team in Dublin. We have a design team of 30+ in Dublin, and over 140 worldwide, made up of UX Researchers, Interaction Designers, Product Designers and Visual Designers. We are looking for a UX Designer to join us and work alongside our platform teams, focusing on building components, patterns and templates that scale our 50,000 user tasks. If you have a passion for creating great user experiences, a deep understanding of interaction, and an eye for detail, then read onAbout YouYou have a love of transforming advanced interactions into simple and elegant components for both web and mobile. You have the ability to dive in and learn complex systems and interfaces. You have excellent interaction design skills and you believe that we should design for the user. You have strong collaboration skills and an eagerness to provide and receive constructive feedback. Exceptional creativity and passion for efficient workflows. A great aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail. Knowledge about the latest technologies, and consumer-centric services. Strong stakeholder management skills. Strong presentation and communication skills. You are an advocate of user experience You are willing to challenge the status quo. You have experience with enterprise application development. Basic Qualifications: 4+ years industry experience (relevant experience will also be considered if other requirements are met) BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS) or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A portfolio demonstrating a deep appreciation for simple, sleek, usable interfaces Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Figma or other modern design & prototyping tools. Ability to communicate and collaborate with product managers and developers about the product strategy. You have an online portfolio of your work and process / ability to demonstrate your design experience. You have a desire to internalise customer experiences and improve those experiences through meaningful design. A collaborative nature with strong communication skills, sincerity, and a desire to bring order to complex design challenges Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
