Your Key Responsibilities Would Include:Roles & Responsibilities:Breakdown of requirements to formulate work packages.Designing, Development and Integration of Driver software for Infinera’s next-gen productsPick development tasks from the teamDesign and implement new functions mainly in C/C++Peer code reviewsWrite unit tests using C++ as well as scripts for automated FT using Python.Debug along with hardware and software engineersImplement with compliance to standards (ITU, MEF, IETF, IEEE, TNF, etc)Experience Necessary for Success:Experience 1-5 years of in SW developmentExcellent C/C++ and object-oriented programming skillsExcellent design analysis skills, including experience with software modeling, understanding of platform boot-up and device drivers, hardware-software interactions (e.g. interrupt architectures etc) and dependencies, high-availability, software reuse, performance, testability, and extensibility.Experienced in bringing up software on a new card and taking it through HW-SW integration.Experience in telecom is a plusExperience in one of the technologies such as SDH/SONET, OTN, DWDM is a plusExperience in either QNX or Linux RTOS Operating systems is a mustExperience developing the FCAPS functionality like Performance Brief DescriptionDesign and development of Network Element Driver Development software.Flexible, innovative and drivenStructured and thorough with analytical and troubleshooting skillsHighly motivated team playerAgile way of workingDriven and willing to take own initiativesEnglish, written and spokenInfinera is an equal opportunity employer.
