This is a full time, remote Summer Internship that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada. The ideal intern will be located in or able to work East Coast hours. Calix is looking for a Summer intern to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a unique and award-winning internship program within the company. The program provides the opportunity to learn new skills through training and on the job learning. This opportunity will provide education into Calix and how sales is enabled and trained so that they can confidently sell to their prospects and customers. This role will provide exposure to different products, solutions, and sales team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about marketing and wants to optimize new ways to enable our sellers. This is an exciting opportunity for any aspiring Sales or Marketing student to come into a high growth, fast paced environment and get real hands-on experience building a field enablement program. The duration of the program is expected to be 90 days.Responsibilities and Duties:Work with key internal stakeholders and local field sales team members to research local service providers in the markets of Netherlands, Belgium, the Nordics, or South Africa. Identify all broadband service providers (BSPs) in the assigned location and provide details related to product offerings, pricing, hardware providers, key messaging, and other intel as communicated.Qualifications:Working towards an undergraduate Marketing, Communications, Business, or Sales degree.Excel experience.Powerpoint experience is beneficial.Curious and problem solverComfortable with technology and learning new applications and platforms.Team player.Experience in a role or project requiring analytical problem solving and analysis.Strong communications skills with all levels of an organization.Detail oriented.Able to work effectively in a remote environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity and fast changing environments.Able to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September).Preference will be given to applicants who are currently in their Junior or Senior year of college.Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education (i.e. year in school).There are different ranges applied to specific locations.
