This position is truly a chance to be part of a category-defining team that is attracting top-tier talent interested in pushing the boundaries of what's possible in AI.  What we need: We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter with a minimum of seven years of experience, ideally with at least three years in a fast-paced start-up environment. As a vital member of our team, you will play a pivotal role with sourcing, engaging, and hiring top-tier technical talent to fuel our company's growth and success. What you’ll do: Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for technical positions, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation. Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand talent needs, develop job descriptions, and execute strategic recruitment plans. Employ innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier candidates through various channels, including, but not limited to: social media, networking, referrals, and industry events. Evaluate candidate qualifications, conduct thorough interviews, and assess technical skills to ensure a strong cultural and technical fit. Drive a seamless candidate experience by providing timely communication, feedback, and guidance throughout the hiring process. Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs, fostering long-term relationships with potential candidates. Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to advise on best practices and optimize recruitment strategies. Collaborate with a world-class team of engineers, researchers, and scientists. Shape recruiting best practices and company culture as we grow.   What we look for: Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical recruitment, with at least 3 years in a fast-paced startup environment.  Proven track record in the last two years sourcing and hiring technical talent in AI, machine learning, data science, and software engineering roles. Passion for driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in hiring practices. Strong understanding of technical skills and proficiency in assessing candidates' technical capabilities. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence candidates and stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities. Familiarity with Greenhouse applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. Experience partnering with cross functional teams and managers. Bachelor's degree preferred. What you can expect from us: This is a hybrid position based in San Jose, California, with three days in office. The estimated annual base salary for this position is between  $131,000-$154,000 .*  At Coactive, cash salary is only one part of our total compensation package.
