Job Requisition ID #24WD78117Position OverviewThis position will require the Project Accountant to work with Autodesk ConsultingProject Managers and Delivery Managers on the financial tracking of Autodesk led consulting projects. The Project Accountant will work with the Project Accounting Manager to provide updates on project status, escalations, and revenue recognition against forecast. This position will also help support ad hoc projects as needed.Activities include Quarter Close Disclosures, tracking project expirations, meeting with WW Project Managers to validate deferred revenue balances, ensuring revenue is posted according to Revenue Accounting ASC606 guidelines, and managing revenue as compared to forecast.Ability to overlap some hours of the day during critical time periods with other locations, will be required. In addition, this position will support consulting projects based in AMER.ResponsibilitiesMeet weekly/monthly with each assigned Project Managers to review projects, review forecasts, alert PM and Mgmt to any risks to meeting forecastManage Project Setups and Updates through our PSA system and SAP Accounting systemReview revenue and reconcile against forecastProvide consistent updates to the Project Accounting Manager in relation to revenue, risks, or non-standard agreementsFormal Revenue Accounting Deal Review write-upsManage GL Account ReconciliationsMinimum QualificationsThe ideal candidate should have 8+ experience working within financeSAP S/4 and Business Objects experience is preferredStrong Excel skills requiredBachelor's degree in finance or accountingPrior experience in a high-tech organization with global reach preferredAbility to work on cross functional teams, as well as to work independentlyAttention to detail, accuracy, resourceful, analytical, and follow through skillsAbility to complete projects/reports within established deadlinesMust have excellent communication skills, both written and verbalMust be able to work in ever-changing environment and be self-directed#LI-ML2Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $76,500 and $132,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
