This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the development and optimization of the MES modeling team, deliverables, and support. Responsible for leading a team of MES modelers, overseeing their professional growth, managing resources effectively, ensuring governance compliance, and driving global standardization of processes. Key objective is to deliver tangible value to our manufacturing business by enabling seamless operations and facilitating data-driven decision-making.Position Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of MES modelers, providing guidance and support to drive their professional development and ensure high-performance standards. Set team goals and track progress of team and team members.Manage resources efficiently, including staffing allocation, workload distribution, and capacity planning, to meet project deadlines and business objectives. Advise/mentor team members, prioritize team tasks, assign individual work.Identify problems within programs, creating and implementing solutions and keeping the technical debt for modelling configurations low and running as smoothly and effectively as possible.Create requirements, plan activities and contribute to budget of allocated project scope, prioritization of activities/assignments to supporting team members.Establish and enforce governance standards and best practices to ensure the integrity, reliability, and consistency of MES models and related processes.Execution of medium scale project scope, including ownership of all modeling and change management deliverables.Identify risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation in area of responsibility and at project level.Collaborate with stakeholders across different business units and regions to understand requirements, align priorities, and deliver solutions that meet their needs.Drive global standardization of MES modeling processes, tools, and methodologies to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance scalability. Facilitate MES adoption in responsible area(s).Ensure compliance with cGMP, Quality, work safety instructions & practices at all times.Position Requirements:Expertise in CAMSTAR MESPreferably with 8+ years of direct work experience, with 1-3 years of management experience in biomedical industryBachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experienceAble to work in a global, matrix, highly collaborative and fast-paced environmentAble to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a highly skilled and cross-functional teamExcellent communication skills, possess logical and analytical skills with attention to detailsUnderstanding of change management processDemonstrate GDP and GMP knowledgeUnderstanding of Quality process controlsExperience with ISO13485 and FDA CFR820 regulated medical device product development and manufacturing environmentThe estimated base salary range for the Manager IT, Camstar MES Modeling role based in the United States of America is: $117,500 - $176,300. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
