Senior Manager - Security Product EngineeringDescription -Job Summary• This role is responsible for leading the effort to ensure the security of software products by designing and implementing comprehensive security strategies, guidelines, and practices. The role collaborates with software development teams, security experts, and stakeholders to ensure that security is a fundamental consideration in all phases of product development. The role provides leadership and technical expertise in driving a security-conscious culture and maintaining the integrity of software products.Responsibilities• Oversees the organization of ongoing security testing and code review to improve software security; updates security testing plans to ensure known vulnerabilities will not resurface.• Establishes and enforces security guidelines, policies, and practices for secure software development, coding standards, and vulnerability management.• Evaluates and manages security risks associated with third-party software components and vendors used in software products.• Uses a vast understanding of product security principles to design complex, new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.• Manages security training and awareness programs to development teams, promoting a culture of security awareness and adherence to secure coding practices.• Translates functional plans into operational processes and guides execution.• Plans, schedules, and manages the execution of project activities for the software security teams.• Partners with cross-functional software development teams to help them prioritize, plan, track and execute complex, cross organizational programs.• Manages resources, budgets, and tools necessary for effective security implementation and management.• Provides regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on the security posture of software products.Education & Experience Recommended• Four-year or Graduate Degree or Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.• Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in software security and automation, or a related field.Preferred Certifications• Certified Information Systems Security Professional• Systems Security Certified PractitionerKnowledge & SkillsExtensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages in the area of Cloud.Extensive experience in System design,  scalability, reliability, performance and software products / solutions developmentHands-on cloud development experienceUnderstands the Security landscape and big pictureExcellent analytical and problem solving skills.Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.Evaluating forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
