Primarily responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reporting of statutory accounts as well as supporting lodgement of tax returns, external and internal audit, SOX, treasury, new business integration and internal control and compliance.Key responsibilities:Preparing annual Statutory Accounts on timely basis for all ANZ businesses, including primary responsibility for consolidation workpapers and elimination, NCI, goodwill journals - working with local finance staff and external audit as requiredMaintain tax calendar and ensure tax returns and payments including income, FBT and cbc are prepared on timely basis for all ANZ businesses, reviewing for correctness and work with local finance staff and external tax agents as requiredAssist with application of new accounting standards / tax requirements and review of compliance with current accounting standards / tax requirements Support VP External Reporting and Compliance on ANZ strategic Finance / Tax projects, treasury and insurance functions and maintaining and developing control and compliance systems Assist new businesses with integration into the LN ANZ group with compliance, treasury, and external reporting requirementsWork with LN Internal Audit (IA) and local businesses to ensure successful outcomes for IA reviews and that audit points are remediated.Maintain corporate and treasury databases, group structure chart and support company secretarial functionCandidate requirements:CA/ CPA qualified, 5 years in audit / business servicesTechnical knowledge gained from a large/complex corporate environment, with experience of preparing & reviewing individual company and consolidated accounts reporting according to Australian Accounting StandardsExperience within Big 4 and / or multinational highly regardedLikes working in detail and prides on accuracyAdvanced ExcelStrong communication skills / work to deadlines / self-starterWhat do we offer?Ticket perks to our eventsFlexible working environmentHealth & wellbeing activities and programs, including free counsellingInvestment in your personal career development and trainingTo be part of an innovative and exciting business!Sound like the role for you?
