Focus is on semi-routine tasks within standard operating procedures. Supports the overall team. Responsibilities Supports the team with coordinating large customer deliveries and resolving shipping or receiving issues, keeping records/logs of all materialsApplies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignmentsManage maintenance system - MaximoDocumentation & System Updates Coordinates speedy and efficient delivery of goods to the required destination and obtains sign-off for receiptInforms recipients that goods ordered have been deliveredUpdate data in Maximo systemShipping & Receiving Maintains records of materials received and shipped, within a semi-routine scopeReceives goods delivered to the facility either directly or following acceptance by securityEnters all relevant details of all inbound/outbound shipments and ensures order requirements are fulfilledUses shipment spotlight and shipment dashboard for customers inbound/outbound shipmentsInspects received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items where necessaryProblem Solving Proactively works and communicates with internal/external  customers to ensure on-time deliveriesMay assist with resolving difficult shipping and receiving issuesInventory Management Managing data of assets and related works in MaximoHazardous Materials Follows established procedures on hazardous materials, requires supervision on new assignmentsFollows and complies with hazardous materials within semi-routine protocols, as described by regional regulatory bodiesEquipment Tracks stored and/or abandoned equipmentUses the aging shipment business processes/tools for Shipments over 5 days, 14 days, 30 days and 90 days Data Center (facility) Support Assists with delivering and removal of customers equipment from cages through the use of established proceduresWhen requested by a Smart Hand (SH) request, assists with packing customers equipment with  packing material so that it can be shipped from the Data Center (facility)QualificationsTypically requires a high school diploma and proven years of equivalent of work experienceKnowledge of maintenance systems like Maximo / Infor EAM is nice to haveEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability. If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.Equinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
