In this position, you will play a pivotal role in influencing product roadmaps and lead software engineering teams to extend a scalable & highly available distributed data processing platform to handle 500TB+ of data, 2.5 million+ stream of events across 60K+ industrial IoT devices.ResponsibilitiesSoftware Engineering & Technical LeadershipBe a technical manager with deep experience in distributed systems and software platformsPartner with technical product managers and other business facing functions to understand market needs; quickly translating them into demonstrable softwareBe a technical manager with rich hands-on experienceLead concept-2-deploy cycles to deliver high quality Product capabilities in a rapidly changing environmentProvide best in class Global technical customer supportPartner closely with Architects, Infrastructure & Operation teams to develop and deploy efficient solutionsBe responsible for strategic direction working closely with Product and stakeholdersDrive continuous improvements and efficiencies for software development, testing and supportFoster an innovation-oriented culture to identify new opportunities and enable the next genCommunicate and engage effectively with executive leadership and partner groupsPeople & Team ManagementHelp engineers develop their careers, assigning them to projects tailored to their skill levels, long-term skill development, personalities, and work stylesHire and mentor a diverse group of software engineersBuild and foster high performance engineering team by performance reviews and evaluations, providing constructive feedback, conflict resolution and stakeholder managementQualificationsMS or equivalent with proven years of relevant industry experience architecting, building and operating customer facing software systemsProven years of demonstrated ability to recruit and manage technical teams, including performance management and managing engineersProven years of technical experience in full product/platform lifecycle in an agile environment. Proven years of experience building and managing agile teams.Pro years of hands-on technical leadership in crafting and building scalable / full stack software systemsHands-on programming experience in Java ecosystemExpertise in data modelling and event processing techniques.
