About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments At least 1+ year of experience with software engineering in a cloud environment for tools, infrastructure, and automation development.Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and System at scale (RedHat/CentOS)Experience with DevOps, and CI-CD conceptProven Development experience with Python and Bash scriptingExperience with Configuration Management using Chef or AnsibleExperience with Log management tools using Elastic or SplunkKnowledge in databases and comfortable with various open source databasesUnderstanding in systems architecture and infrastructure (networking, security, storage and system)Experience with virtualization platforms: Redhat KVM or VMware vSphereIt would be great if you also had...Experience with version Control tools: GIT, GITHub or GITLabExperience with monitoring tools, and alerting systems based on NagiosWorking with Agile methodology (Scrum)Knowledge of Secert Management toolsExperience with Docker or other container-based technologies.Knowledge in advanced monitoring solutions: Prometheus and GrafanaWhat will you be doing in this role?The Cloud Development Engineer’s responsibilities include supporting the application platform development team(s) and performing activities to resolve developer issues in a timely and accurate fashion.
