CAST Optimization Intern

We're seeking an Intern to join our CAST Optimization team this summer. You'll dive into analyzing thousands of CAST variants, helping us identify the most promising candidates for groundbreaking therapeutic advancements. The Opportunity: Contribute to cutting-edge research, directly influencing the development of innovative therapeutics. Analyze large datasets to identify key trends and patterns in CAST variant performance Develop and apply bioinformatic tools to streamline screening and analysis processes Collaborate with a dynamic team of scientists driving CAST technology to new heights What You'll Bring: Education: Actively pursuing a degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field with a strong biology foundation. Experience: Proven bioinformatics skills, including proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) Experience with biological data analysis (ideally next-generation sequencing) Familiarity with molecular biology concepts and techniques is a major plus Passion: A genuine interest in applying computational skills to advance biological discovery Ideal Candidates Will Also Have: Experience with high-throughput screening datasets Knowledge of CRISPR-Cas systems (highly desirable) We strongly encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
