The Solutions Consultant - Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) directly interfaces with customers to listen and gather customer requirements for needed services. Working closely with customers and internal teams from Sales, Product Development, and Customer Success, the GRC Solutions Consultant develops solutions within current Workiva GRC products to meet customer needs.The GRC Solutions Consultant is a Presales / sales engineer role, responsible for listening to customer challenges and gathering customer requirements in order to develop consulting services to enable our customers to better leverage current Workiva products.What You'll DoInteract with customers to determine their needs and develops solutions with current Workiva products to meet those needsConsult with customers to determine their challenges and requirementsCreate custom demo solutions for customers and prospective customersProvide project and relationship management to larger customers with broader needsCollect feedback and learnings from custom service engagements to be leveraged in fixed scope, fixed fee servicesDirectly interface with customers and demonstrates complex solutionsCollect feedback from the field and provides it to Product Marketing and Product DevelopmentStrong knowledge of Workiva products through a commitment to ongoing trainingWhat You’ll NeedMinimum QualificationsUndergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field4+ years’ experience in Big 4 (or similar environment) in Audit, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and/or Consulting or prior experience as a Solutions Consultant for a GRC software vendorPreferred QualificationsComprehensive understanding of the internal processes of a company’s finance function across financial reporting, internal audit and/or FP&AAbility to assess business needs and deliver a value-based, compelling software demonstrationExperience in process improvement consultingExperience with business intelligence technologies, databases or data management platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday etc.)Creative, entrepreneurial mindsetProven problem-solving skills and business acumenDetermined, roll up your sleeves attitudeExcellent client-facing presentation skillsProven project and time management skillsAbility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, successfully multi-tasking and determining priorities to meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsExcellent MS Excel and presentation skillsTravel Requirement and Working ConditionsUp to 40% travel for customer and internal meetingsReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva officeWorkiva is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We believe that great minds think differently. We value diversity of backgrounds, beliefs, and interests, and we recognize diversity as an important source of intellectual thought, varied perspective, and innovation.  Employment decisions are made without regard to age, gender identity, race, religion, disability status, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.  Workiva is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities.
