As a Business Development Representative reporting to our Water Products Adoption team, you will identify and qualify prospects and run our "first touch" sales plays for our cloud-based solutions for the water industry. You will build a pipeline of opportunities our pre-sales team guides through their buying journey. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the knowledge and presence of Water industry software solutions and help Autodesk's goal of achieving a more sustainable water future.This role can be fully remote.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and prospect potential Info360 customers through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media, trade shows, conferences, and networking eventsResearch to understand the target industry trends and competitorsRun established sales plays, propose new plays and modifications to existing plays based on direct customer interactionsQualify leads and determine the customer suitability for Info360 productsDevelop a pipeline of qualified opportunities by managing leads and nurturing relationships with prospectsConduct "first-touch" customer interactions and presentations to showcase the value proposition of Info360Collaborate with team members in the Autodesk sales team on Info360 opportunities within existing territories and accountsWork with manager and customer to negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and profitabilityMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the Salesforce.comCollaborate with Info360 product marketing teams to support lead generation programs and provide feedback on marketing campaignsStay updated with industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunitiesCollaborate with technical sales and customer success team on customer requirements established in the presales process, ensuring a seamless handoff to the next stage of the customer adoption journeyProvide regular feedback to the product management team based on customer needs and market demandYou will have experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects with customers to understand their needs, expectations, and how Info360 can benefit their businessMinimum Qualifications5+ years of professional business development or pre-sales experience with complex SaaS solutions and technologiesBackground in the water industryBachelor's Degree (preference for Engineering, IT, Business)Have consistently succeeded in achieving annual goals in your previous roles#LI-TG1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $71,100 and $102,960. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
