Job Requisition ID #24WD78031Position OverviewAutodesk's Entertainment and Media Solutions (EMS) group creates award-winning desktop and cloud software for the media and entertainment industries, used for 3d modeling, animation, rendering, VFX, film finishing, production management, and more.EMS' Experience Design (XD) team is hiring an Experience Design System Lead who'll report to our Director of Experience Design Standards. The goal of our Experience Design Standards team is to drive design impact, collaborating with the XD teams to produce the design artefacts to help us scale and deliver consistent, efficient, and productive user experiences. You will lead the day-to-day relationship with Weave, Autodesk's Design System, and other Autodesk front end technologies to ensure our EMS design strategy is attainable, leveraging the Autodesk platform while meeting the demands of the Media and Entertainment customer.When applying please include your resume and updated portfolio and password.ResponsibilitiesDevelop approaches to identify challenges and align solutions with our priorities to provide a cohesive front-end user-friendly experienceEnsure our output/visuals are consistent with the brand and strategic commitments we makeCreate artefacts using industry standard tools to communicate the value of Weave alignment to our XD organization where neededEnsure the adoption of Design System standards throughout the EMS organization and enable the design community to re-use not re-invent designsWork with the VXD Standards Lead to align the visual language of our products with the Weave Design systemWork with our front-end engineers and experience architects to communicate a shared vision on harmonizing our productsBuild trusted relationships with XD, Product, and Engineering teams across the EMS and Autodesk organizationsMinimum Qualifications12+ years' experience defining large scale cloud-first product experience ecosystems with design systems in matrixed organizationsExperience with front-end web-based, Design Systems, inclusive design, and accessible design practicesExperience communicating complex systems design into intuitive stories at a level appropriate to the audience (customers, staff, peers and senior management, executives)Experience presenting to different audiencesExperience building and creating influential relationships within and across product and engineering groupsAbility to act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. May oversee the work of other team membersExperience working in agile environment and fast-moving design teams, leveraging user-centered design practicesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's or equivalent work experience; Master's in HCI or related field preferredExperience implementing personalized and dynamic user experiences for cloud-based platforms.Experience working with content management cloud-based systems for managing assets at an enterprise scale.Experience in the media and entertainment industry, including experience using 3ds Max, Maya, or similar commercial applications#LI-CD2#LI-Remote#EMS-XDLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $138,400 and $190,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
