You’ll use your knowledge of our platforms, the commercial fraud and risk industry, and our clients’ needs to find ways to improve our products and processes.You’ll be empowered to listen to our clients’ needs and act on them. Our product owners work on a myriad of different projects including prioritization, execution, client implementation, feature ripening, designing mockups, testing new software, sprint planning, and owning the backlog.You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to understand the job-to-be-done and improve the users’ experience. You’ll know how to determine what success looks like for a project and be able to tie it back to the company’s goals.  You are likely an accomplished technologist with a high capacity for building new digital software and solutions and offer deep experience in driving requirements and the development of systems to be used by a variety of people.  In addition, you take a client-centric approach to product management and have demonstrated results driving rapid modifications and initial concepts to new and existing products.  Although you will work in the Product Group, you will continually work with, build and influence cross-departmental work groups with your outstanding written and verbal communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES:   Execute roadmap and prioritize the backlog, with considerations to resource allocationAct as primary liaison for your products between multiple departments, including design, development, and implementationsWork in a leadership role to champion end-user experience within products under your ownershipOperate in an agile environment to manage the product backlog, assist in triage, define new product requirements, orchestrate the creation of product specifications, scope bug fixes, and communicate feature updates on an ongoing basisManage the product backlog, define new product specifications, scope bug fixes, and communicate release features on an ongoing basisDeliver product acceptance testing protocol for the development organization you work with to ensure a quality product is delivered to clientsFully research, scope and develop a strategy for new and existing products/features for Q2, focused on high quality and aggressive adoption among our customer base Provide industry research to be utilized in product business casesIdentify cross-functional dependencies and coordinate with other teams to prioritize and schedule your backlog accordinglyWork with the Release Management team to develop and deliver release documentation and training materials for internal groups on key functional aspects of products under your ownershipCollaborate with Design to ensure optimal user experienceCollaborate with the Product Management team to understand the strategy and roadmap in order to formulate and execute against release plansSupport and drive new features from BETA all the way through General AvailabilityResponsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered toEnsures that product is adherent to regulations, banking, accessibility, etc. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE: Degree in Management, Engineering or Computer Science preferredMinimum 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within the Fintech or Financial services industry. Commercial banking experience will be a plusExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsStrong teamwork, organization, and problem resolution skillsStrong training and presentation skillsExperience working in an agile software development environmentGood knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or KanbanSelf-starter with proven ability to deliver results with minimal assistanceAnalytical mindset with the ability to gather and analyse user feedback, market research, and industry trends to inform product decisionsPossessing a SAFe POPM or Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) certificationThis position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
