Job Requisition ID #24WD77313Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced communications and media relations professional to join our team, to tell inspiring and authentic stories to internal and external audiences across the globe. You bring communications expertise, curiosity, energy and creativity to help tell Autodesk's story locally.You will be part of the international and customer communications team, overseeing Autodesk's communications goals for India and SAARC, using expertise in the local markets to adapt our global communications strategy for local relevancy.You will also partner with the global brand team, being a local brand ambassador for Autodesk.Reporting to the Senior Manager of International and Customer Communications, you will be associated with one of our India offices, with the option of our hybrid-remote work policy.Responsibilities:Develop Autodesk's external communications program for India, developing and executing proactive PR campaigns to support key moments and eventsBe the main point of contact for the local communications agency supporting execution of the strategic communications planPartner with Autodesk's global communications teams to deliver company-wide messaging and updates on the regionUse industry knowledge to bring local insights to global messaging, supporting local spokesperson media training and briefing opportunitiesEngage stakeholders to uncover local customer story opportunities to bring our key messages to life, and assess their impact to be told globally by AutodeskMeasure the effectiveness of campaigns and be the strategic business partner to local sales and account-based marketing, gathering insights on local customer challenges, business priorities and industry themes, to support the country's unique communications needs and add value through external communications and thought leadership contentWork cross-functionally with government affairs to support and amplify local programmes, such as hosting elected officials and amplifying engagements with pressSupport global brand team with roll out of localized brand campaigns, enablement and brand trainingManage a budget and agency partnersJob Specification 7-10 years of experience in communications or public relations related fieldExperience working in local market (India)Proven experience in adapting communications strategy for local market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and cultural nuances Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, multicultural, multilingual matrixed organization You are strategic and creative, comfortable debating and defending your ideasWorking knowledge of current content marketing, social media, PR, experiential marketing and brand activation trends and best practices Excellent writer, with the skills to distil complex content into clear, concise, and engaging communications, and able to write with speed and accuracyAbility to be flexible, proactive, work under deadlines, and ensure quality and accuracyCan influence across functions, geographies and levels, and the ability to work with multiple partners and teams to drive alignment and collaborationAbility to travel internationally 10-15% of the time, and travel to the office for meetings, brainstorming and internal stakeholder liaisonProficiency in MS Office and social mediaExperience working for a multinational organization and understanding of Autodesk’s business and experience with cloud software companies a plusBachelor's degree in communications or journalism; or equivalent work experience and excellent writing and communications skills, English fluency requiredLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
