Sr. Manager, Print PDMDescription -Job SummaryThis role reports to the Director of Product Data Management Operations within Supply Chain Planning.This role is responsible for providing leadership oversight and management of the Print PDM Operations team comprised of product configuration managers, specialists, PLM business administrators, and project managers that drive and deliver organizational efficiency, processes optimization, product configuration, master data management, innovation and growth in support of HP's Print products.This role is responsible for the business intelligence function and internal tools for the PDM Operations organization as a whole, providing leadership and technical expertise, shaping the architecture, integration, and optimization of these capabilities to deliver robust, reliable, high-value solutions enabling the PDM Operations team to better serve HP's customers and enable the organization to achieve its strategic objectives.This role works closely with cross-functional teams and leaders in HP's Print business, central services functions, such as IT, HR, Supply Chain PLM COE, Supply Chain Planning leaders, and other to ensure the PDM Operations team meets the needs of the business and receives the necessary support.This role works closely with the PDM Operations PMO to align on project priorities and drive the business intelligence function, staff, and other business functions to support the needs of the Print PDM Operations team and larger PDM Operations team as a whole.This role ensures that Print PDM related product escalations are staffed and managed to support the business, and coordinates with the PDM Operations Escalation Management function.Process and Tool Improvements: Identifies opportunities to streamline data management processes, improve data accuracy, increase usability of business intelligence reports and tools to raise productivity, increase quality, and reduce overhead.Data Governance: Coordinate with PDM Operations leadership team in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team and ensure they adhere to best practices and meet departmental objectives.Data Integration: Oversee the integration of product data from various sources, including suppliers, manufacturing, and sales, into a centralized database.Data Architecture: Collaborate with IT and other teams to design and maintain a robust data architecture that supports the needs of the organization.Data Reporting: Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to provide real-time insights into product data for decision-makers.ResponsibilitiesProvides direct and ongoing leadership for an organization of subordinate managers and individual contributors.Manages and directly contributes to projects involving business intelligence, PDM Operations internal tools, and other business functions.Translates functional plans into operations processes and guides execution.Collaborates with stakeholders to define requirements and architect solutions that meet business goals and technical constraints.Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires conceptual thinking and in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects and programs, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps.Engages with program managers, supply chain leadership, technical leaders, and others to communicate program status, escalate issues, and guide and influence strategic decision-making.Provides overall people-care management for direct reports, including, hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development.Drives and fosters organization-wide performance standards, expectations, and practices to support ongoing team members and process development.Education & Experience RecommendedFour-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in systems engineering, computer programming language, product data management, or a related field.Knowledge & SkillsAgile MethodologyProduct Lifecycle ManagementSupply ChainBusiness IntelligenceAutomationComputer ScienceSoftware Development / EngineeringScalabilitySolutions ArchitectureSQLCross-Org SkillsCustomer CentricityPrioritizationResilienceTeam ManagementStrategic ThinkingImpact & ScopeImpacts large functions and leads projects requiring knowledge of multiple disciplines or areas of HP.ComplexityUses managerial concepts and company objectives to resolve highly complex issues in creative and effective ways.
