Within this group you will work with Learning Platform teams at Workday. We are responsible for building the Cloud Connect for Learning (CCL) product that integrates with third-party content providers, allowing organizations a single place to discover, consume, and track all their learner content. We are looking for an experienced SDET to be part of the continued success of the Cloud Connect for Learning team, with the opportunity to expand to a broader role across multiple teams in E&I. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic and diverse team to help craft the personal experience of millions of our daily users across the globe.About the RoleA quality evangelist, get your team thinking about quality, engaged in the test planning, manual test execution and automation process Working closely with other Software Engineers and Product Managers, you will use and grow your knowledge and creativity to design effective test solutions (manual and automated) in order to ensure a high-quality product for our customersExpand and improve our suite of test automation scripts, conduct manual verification tests on key features, and optimize our approach to software quality even further.Create and own innovative solutions in our test pipelines as well as the product itself, in order to improve overall engineering productivity and software quality.Manually execute tests for specific workflows when proper automation is difficult or impossible (e.g. testing for perceived responsiveness)Maintain and improve infrastructure stabilityIntegrate and manage test environmentsAssist Product Support with customer support issuesAbout YouBasic Qualifications:Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or related fieldYou have 4+ years in Software Quality Engineering with automation experience in backend, API & UIExperience testing product features for non-functional requirements (ie, scalability)Experience in an Agile environmentA positive attitude and are an excellent communicatorOther Qualifications:Experience working with CI/CD pipelinesGood experience with Jenkins and/or similar orchestration toolsSolid Understanding of AWS, DockerExperience in performance testing is a plusA passion for learning new technologies and solving complex problems.Experience with monitoring systems, metrics gathering or system health observabilityExperience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, Mockito, etc.Experience with Java build tools such as Ant, Maven, Gerrit, Gradle, etc.Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
