In this role, you'll lead strategic initiatives to combat payments fraud and enhance risk management practices to ensure outstanding user experiences for millions of buyers and sellers worldwide.Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of payments fraud strategy frameworks, focusing on credit risk, fraud prevention, and portfolio analysis.Utilize advanced analytics techniques to derive insights from large datasets and improve risk controls.Monitor the performance of fraud prevention strategies and identify opportunities for optimization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy scalable risk management solutions throughout the buyer lifecycle.Assess and manage new forms of payments, evaluating their risk implications and developing appropriate risk management strategies.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in payments fraud strategy or risk analytics, with a strong focus on SQL.Proficiency in Python highly desired; experience with machine learning frameworks a plus.Deep understanding of ecommerce/digital risk management, including user verification, fraud detection, and access standards.Experience in transaction risk management preferred.Ability to define and solve complex problems, reconcile conflicting goals, and communicate technical concepts effectively.Experience in developing dashboards and reporting for data-driven decision-making.The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.$144,000 - $216,150Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
