Financial analyst is responsible for producing quarterly revenue/unit forecasts, cost of sales and other related analysis for Apple India. This position will primarily interact with India senior management, both Sales and Finance, and will be located in Gurgaon, India. Revenue planning, forecasting, retargeting, monitoring with RTM/LOB details
Support the business in Trade Term investments, ensure they set and selected for ROI maximisation
Cost Control, Benchmarking, productivity & engagement for SAMI, CRT & similar systems roll out
Ensure Cost of Sales within the target & Deep dive analysis on the CoS
Co-ordinate with accounting team to ensure accurate accruals and payout Channel Management
Pro-actively work on the credit limits and ensure no outstanding AR
To share on the best assumption in the quarterly financials on the cost to serve based model
Forward-looking analysis to the lowest level
End-to-End channel claims process to be documented and signed off
Ensure all partner claims are reconciled and communicated quarterly. Sales Compensation Management
Preparation of India Specific Price List and communicate the Price List to the channel partners
Review and Update VAT, CST & Customs Duty impact
Review the composite tax rate on a quarterly basis
Pro-actively analyse and include in the monthly financials on significant variance. Systems & Process Improvement
Improve the reporting system & business intelligence we bring to business partners & Management
Enhance/ automate cost tracking & fine tuning the existing reports
Collaborate actively with the EMEIA FPA team to ensure increased efficiency in CoS forecast and planning preparation in full accuracy
Engage with system projects with close collaboration with SSC (Related to Claims process or similar such areas) Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business. CA/MBA preferred Additional Requirements Additional Requirements
