As part of Battery Engineering, you will have responsibility to successfully develop battery products through the direction of highly multi-disciplinary engineering teams and supplier partners specialized in the development of batteries. Description Description You will be responsible for establishing and meeting battery requirements through the realization of designs qualified for mass production. Responsibilities are: - Monitors mechanical and electrical design for correct integration of battery module and within devices and systems. - Reviews integration issues and drives engineering and operations teams for closure of issues. - Explores new architectures with product teams towards optimal battery design direction. - Transitions newly established battery technologies into product design. - Influences early phase design simulation and analysis for superior design - Structures technical investigations to reduce project risk. - Assures alignment between design tolerances and process capability. - Facilitates high-quality design reviews. - Owns the tough decisions when the multi-functional team cannot decide. - Ensures robust product qualification design. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $188,000.00 and $351,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
