Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. The Product Quality team is looking for a highly motivated quality professional to support outbound quality management. You will be responsible for sustaining quality management for many of Apple’s Softgoods products. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Project management experience influencing others while having no direct authority Experience working with high volume international manufacturers and traveling to manufacturing sites Results driven and detail oriented leadership experience required Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to present to management 3+ years experience Data-driven and results-oriented approach to problem solving Reliability methods and quality sampling methodologies Finance/business acumen – understand cost drivers and derive/optimize costs associated with managing quality Solid understanding of field performance International experience, particularly in Asia is a plus Technical knowledge related to Softgoods products is a plus Experience with packout & supply chain logistics is a plus Description Description Drive on-going product improvements with cross-functional and OEM partners Conduct periodic reviews of Field and Factory Quality Data with internal and external partners Define and manage ongoing quality testing and associated costs Lead quality escalations to closure by applying a balance of technical and program management skills Prepare information for final decision to release a new product Lead field quality evaluation after product launch Ability to drive solutions across multiple cross-functional teams, and the supply chain Consolidate detailed and cross-functional data into concise executive briefings Ability to travel up to 15% Education & Experience Education & Experience BS in Engineering Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $108,400.00 and $162,800.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
