The Senior Manager of Global Benefits is a strategic thought leader responsible for driving the overall benefits strategy across the US, EMEA and APAC. This positoin manages a team of subject-matter-experts in benefits administration and global benefit strategies. With focus on attracting and retaining top talent, the Senior Manager combines expert knowledge of the business and deep-content knowledge in the development of our benefits packages and programs to ensure our benefit offerings are market competitive, compliant, sustainable and remain aligned with our organizational strategic priorities. Essential FunctionsTeam Management: Lead and mentor a growing global benefits team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities Advocate for team members, offering guidance on performance, and salary administrationGlobal Benefit Strategies:Conduct ongoing market and industry research to ensure our global benefit offerings remain competitive and aligned with industry standards Prepare an annual summary of global benefit costs and recommendations, partnering with finance to forecast upcoming fiscal year budgetsOversight & Program Administration:Maintain a comprehensive understanding and oversight of all global benefits programs, including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, paid time off, pension/retirement, wellness, and perquisites Address and manage administration escalations as the team implements, administers, and maintains benefit programs Lead the annual process and team through open enrollment, including preparation of associated communication materials, supporting the design and accuracy of enrollment and working with vendors on ensuring accurate benefit enrollmentDevelop and maintain effective communication strategies in partnership with internal communications to ensure all benefit programs are fully understood and appropriately valued by employeesSupport establishing a workplace culture that supports multi-facets of health: mental, emotional, and physical well-being; lead communication efforts, implementation, and educational initiativesDrive continuous improvement in benefits administration through automation through work with key stakeholders to ensure benefit or policy design changes cascade to appropriate systemsProject manage the RFP process and implementationsParticipate in benefits surveys by country as a central repository of information on benefits outside the US Extract information from benefits surveys to stay abreast of how we compare with our industry and beyond for benefits offerings Use data analysis/analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and make recommendations for improvementVendor Relationships: Evaluate and negotiate contracts with benefit providers, ensuring timely contract evaluations and renewals Build strong relationships with vendors and ensure fiscal prudence through thorough vetting and comparison of proposalsCompliance: Ensure compliance with statutory, federal, state, and local legislation related to benefit product details, tax deductions, reporting, SOX controls, and privacy Maintain knowledge of and application of government regulations, benefits program trends, and prevailing practices, including leveraging the vendor network for these resources; recommend changes as neededCreate a regular cadence for follow-up and maintenance to ensure compliance with governing laws. QualificationsRequired: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of applied benefits experience in a corporate environment 3+ years of prior leadership experience managing peopleStrong global knowledge of benefits administration, compliance, and vendor management.SOX compliance experienceStrong business partnering experience / skills including the ability to interact, communicate and influence equally well within all levels of the organization Advanced experience/skills with Excel spreadsheetsStrong written and verbal communication skills• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local benefit compliance regulationsDesired: Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldCertified Benefits Professional (CBP), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or other relevant certification Self-insured as well as fully insured experience (in US) Exposure to benefit programs in EMEA & APACWorkday system experiencenCino retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position as business operations require.
