Key Qualifications Key Qualifications * Experience with fractography and failure analysis of glass, ceramics, or other brittle materials. * Experience with basic materials analysis methods (SEM, EDS, optical microscopes, profilometery, hardness testing, etc.) * Strong analytical / problem solving skills and ability to use statistical tools & techniques. * Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills. * Flexibility and comfort working in a quickly changing environment. * High English proficiency Description Description As an FA and Test Development Engineer, you will work with a world class team of material experts to help us develop and test new material solutions for a wide range of Apple products. Responsibilities of the role include 1) characterization of material properties, 2) failure analysis, and 3) development of new test techniques, fixtures, and protocols, 4) mechanical testing. In addition, you will collaborate closely with our cross-functional partners in Product Design, Manufacturing Design, and Reliability to help deliver the best material solutions and products to our customers.
