It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.The Role  Proofpoint is looking for a Manager, Real Estate & Workplace Services to join our global facilities team!  As the Manager for Proofpoint’s Headquarters in Sunnyvale, you will manage the Sunnyvale REWS team, organize, coordinate, and budget office operations and manage procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with customer service focus and knowledgeable in managing building systems. They must have experience managing construction & alterations, and able to work independently with cross-functional teams. This person must be well organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of managing and supporting a high visibility office. This position is full-time, on site, and reports to the Director of Real Estate and Workplace Services.Your day-to-day Direct Reports include Reception staff, Facilities Technicians, Coordinators, and Assistants, and responsibility of contractors.Inform REWS policy and develop and refine appropriate proceduresManagement of Service Request intake and work order management, delegation of work, and tracking of completion.Review and approve estimates, purchase orders, and invoicesWork with Procurement & Finance teams for contracting for facilities related scopesOversee annual facilities site audits.Participate in budgeting for annual capital projects and maintenance R&M.Provide direction for 3rd Party and In-House Preventative MaintenancePartnering with company Health and Safety team, Develop and oversee scheduling and deployment of required Health and Safety programsProvide support during company development activities including Expansions and MovesSource appropriate vendors and tradesResponsible for managing and deploying Preventative MaintenanceManage company Energy/Water efficiency projects including tracking and retrofitsCoordinate with IT and HR departments on cross-functional activitiesSupport company Events programs and manage Sunnyvale Food ProgramAct as mentor to individuals on the team looking for career guidanceWhat you bring to the team Able to track and manage budgets and prepare reportsExperience in construction project managementKnowledge of building systems and health and safety proceduresExperience with confluence, reading plans, and other building management toolsExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workOrganization skills, with solid attention to detail and critical thinkingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSpace planning and move management experianceLeasing experienceFocus on customer serviceAble to work independently and with a remote team#LI-PH1If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!Consistent with Proofpoint values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
