About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Specialist responsible for supporting our office's day-time operations in Bangalore, India. You will ensure that the office runs smoothly and is well-maintained during the day. Reporting to the Director of People, you will be part of the lean and mighty Global People Team.
This role is required to be on-site in our Bangalore office M-F with the hours of 10 am IST - 7 pm IST.
Manage office operations:
Responsible for managing office operations, vendors, and procurement duties. This role includes overseeing supplies, maintaining office equipment, maintenance, and supervising cleaning staff.
Coordinate with staff:
Work closely with staff members, communicating with them to ensure their needs are met and they have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
Assist with the on-site interviews of candidates for open positions.
Complex calendaring and event planning:
Responsible for scheduling appointments and managing the office calendar, ensuring no conflicts and that all appointments are appropriately scheduled.
Scheduling occasional gatherings/events.
Handle administrative tasks:
Handles various administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, preparing reports, maintaining records, mailing, etc.
Managing special projects as needed.
About you:
2+ years of proven experience managing the logistics of a corporate office, including vendor relationships and procurement duties.
2+ years of proven experience with office management systems and procedures, back-office systems, and practices.
Experience using standard office equipment (e.g. printer, scanner, mailing, etc.)
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Extremely organized with high standards and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
