Senior Director, Strategy & PlanningDescription -Executive Role DescriptionThe Senior Director of Strategy and Planning will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and planning processes for the Global Services and Solutions Organizations. This role will involve:Structuring problem-solving methodologies to address issues spanning GSS and HPWS,Creating standard processes for 1 to 3 years business planning and LTP long-term planning,Connecting critical initiatives across GSS and the Markets regarding critical initiatives to grow WS Portfolio.Expand planning and operations capabilities,Build out Voice of the Customer and Customer Insight functions,Strengthen interlocks across WS GBU, Category, ChannelScope and Impact of workThis role will influence GSS, Markets and HPWS strategic direction in terms of critical business planning, short, mid and long term planning, portfolio development options and strong overall POM and business processes.The impact spans across 2 global organizations and 8 market Services and solutions teams.Knowledge and Experience:Extensive experience in strategic planning and execution within global service and solutions organizations.Strong understanding of sales, product development, and operations functions.Proven track record of creating and implementing standard planning processes.Expertise in leveraging customer insights and market trends to drive strategic decision-making.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across various departments and functions.Previous experience in leadership roles within strategy or planning departments.Problem-Solving Thinking Complexity and contribution:The role requires a sophisticated approach to problem-solving, encompassing the ability to analyze complex issues spanning multiple organizational areas. The Senior Director must be adept at developing structured problem-solving frameworks and methodologies to address challenges effectively. This involves synthesizing data, identifying root causes, and developing actionable strategies to drive business growth and innovation.Collaboration, and Scope of Relationship:The Senior Director will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization and driving alignment across GSS, Markets and GBU. This position requires extensive collaboration with executive leadership, Team leads , and cross-functional teams across all levels (L2, L3) to ensure alignment with business objectives and priorities.Additionally, the Senior Director will engage with external stakeholders, such as customers and industry partners, to gather insights and inform strategic decision-making.Supervision and Direction:The Senior Director will provide leadership and direction to a team responsible for strategic planning, operations, and customer insights. This involves setting clear goals and expectations, providing guidance and support, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
