We achieve this by partnering closely with the advertising product and engineering teams and find opportunities to craft the product roadmaps.What you will accomplish: Development and execution of measurement frameworks, dashboards, and data analyses to measure the efficiency of Ads Product.In addition to delivering insights on existing Product & Tech initiatives, you will come up with innovative product growth opportunities based on insights and build momentum through influence.You will provide thought leadership backed by data science to Ads Product team to influence Strategy and roadmap.Experience working with a dedicated team with diverse abilities and background.What you will bring: Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Business Administration or Business Analytics and 3-4+ years of experience in analytics/data science.Experience in building econometric models and have in-depth understanding of demand and supply dynamics in a marketplace.Balance between critical thinking and actual hands-on analyses using tools & packages such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau etc.Proven technical skills to turn big data in Hadoop into actionable insights, as well as the ability to see the big picture and connect the dots to evaluate how the insights impact eBay’s ecosystem.Good experience with both descriptive and inferential statistics – ability to build basic prototype models.Background in ecommerce product experience, experience with advertising pricing mechanism is a plus.#LI-BB1Please see the Talent Privacy Notice for information regarding how eBay handles your personal data collected when you use the eBay Careers website or apply for a job with eBay.eBay is an equal opportunity employer.
