We are a team that plays to our individual strengths in an effort to deliver something greater than the sum of our parts, and we like to mix in some fun along the way too.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Senior Project Accountant to work in the exciting area of the Finance Enablement. This person will help develop and drive the strategic development of this team and help determine the most impactful initiatives to help our International Finance team achieve its ambitious goals. The individual will lead, develop, interpret and implement system and process changes. This person will play an integral role in the technical adoption and implementation of new and emerging Workday technology.Additionally, this role will support international accounting transformational work in close collaboration with the Workday on Workday team. The role will provide project management and technical guidance, be hands on, respond to reporting /analytics requests, lead various integrations and work independently but closely with the functional Finance partners. In this role you will report to the Senior Director, International Controller - Strategic Project Enablement and Management.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leading technology adoption in Workday and support on-going enhancements for the international accounting teamHelp define and evolve our strategic goalsEnhance our collaboration with all relevant stakeholders and teams.Be a voice for finance enablement both internally and externallyEvaluating business processes and developing process improvements with focus on optimising use of Workday and other key technology.Working closely with international accounting to understand functional requirements and execute them through successful implementation and testing.Gathering, analysing, preparing and summarising recommendations to assist the international accounting team continue to deliver with efficiency and accuracy Managing transformational projects end to end; ensuring coverage of all facets of design, build, test and deployment aligned to a successful end-user experience.Providing guidance to international accounting team members, Workday managers and employees on the use of financial systems.Performing technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Advising international accounting leadership on best practices for technology and process improvementsAbout YouBasic Qualifications:Minimum of 6 years of directly related experience working with financial systems, particularly in Workday or equivalent finance and HR systems.5 years hands-on experience leading complex planning and consolidation models.5 years knowledge of international statutory processes and audits in a multinational environment5 years experience in managing complex projects which require cross-collaboration with multiple teams.Other Qualifications:Strong understanding of data integration between systems and/or experience working with IT.Knowledge of ERP and Financial Planning software and ability to operate as the Subject Matter Expert.Strong understanding of Finance, Payroll and HR business processes and their interdependencies.Project management skills; demonstrated ability to manage Finance processes and/or technology projects.Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience running projects with multiple stakeholdersExperience designing reports and dashboards to Financial Plan Models.Proven ability to work independently and with higher levels of management.Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
