And strategic growth areas including expansion in international markets, medium enterprise and growing wallet share within our customer base.About the RoleThe role of the Principal GTM Activation, as part of the Workday Go to Market Strategy & Planning team, is to build and implement GTM Plays translating critical initiatives/levers into marketing and field execution with alignment on go-to-market strategy, standardized processes and roles & responsibilities, tools, content (sales plays) and enablement for successful cross-functional teamwork; aligned to our company wide end-to-end pipeline management operating model:Planning with alignment and validation of GTM Strategy, market opportunities, goals, key messages and readiness across GTM teams during design, deliverables and pilot of new GTM Plays.Build GTM Plays as ‘off the shelf’ resources for new growth initiatives ready for implementation by regions’ GTM teams to demonstrate to build and accelerate their pipeline and revenue.Accelerate field adoption through notifications with role-specific enablement (‘right play at right time’) and global assets built with the goal of easy regional variation where needed.Supervise adoption against defined targets and success measures, like pipeline build/acceleration and revenue impact to pivot for agile adjustments, when needed.This role influences and drives teamwork between Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing, CX & Customer Success, and Global Partners to ensure that we are delivering a seamless experience to our customers with a smoother and more effective cross-functional execution on new GTM strategies. As Principle GTM Activation, you will:Develop and implement transformative programs to improve GTM execution, that aligns with the company's overall objectives and supports our customer-centric approach.Proactively influence key partners who are in the process of defining GTM Strategy to consider implications on process, roles/responsibilities, tools, content and enablement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, RevOps, CX & Customer Success, and Partners) to ensure alignment in selling strategies and consistency across customer touchpoints.Design, deploy and drive adoption of repeatable GTM Plays/sales motions that enable cross-functional teams to efficiently implement and complete new GTM strategies in local field organizations.Accelerate adoption through trusted partnering with Field executives in Sales, Field Operations and CX/CS and Global Partners when needed; Proactively address feedback and absorb input.Developing and implementing metrics to measure success (evaluate relevance, readiness, and impact) of transformative programs to improve GTM and supervise progress against our goals.Partnering with our data and analytics teams to gather insights and understand business requirements to continuously evolve the GTM’s execution strategy to optimize results.We are looking for a strategic system thinker with a proven track record of establishing new practices (process, tools, content), cross-functional alignment, and delivering outcomes in the field.About YouA successful candidate for Principal, GTM Activation role will have proven: Deep understanding of business mechanics, (partner) sales motions and field execution/behaviorsExperience delivering sophisticated initiatives from inception to execution and, ultimately, scaleProficient in supervising field adoption, pipeline performance metrics and other success measurementsRepeat exposure to adapting messaging up and across an organization. Basic Qualifications7+ years in sales, presales, business development and/or process designOther QualificationsStrong understanding of SaaS business models and the technology industryExcellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skillsProven track record to manage cross-functional teams and partnersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentSelf-starter: able to deliver and drive without step-by-step instructionServant leader: motivated by the opportunity to improve the lives of others. Intellectual curiosity: keen to find innovative solutions to complex problemsWorkday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
