Apple Music Radio is search of a Content Producer to create high level content globally for the Apple Music platform. You will work closely with the station EP and Managing Producer to ensure Apple Music Radio’s programming strategy is woven through the high level content created. The Content Producer will work with the station EP and cross functional partners to execute the creative vision for each program created. You will be responsible for the oversight of the highly cross functional components of creating, executing and following through on each show you help create - from inception to show launch and beyond.
Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Highly experienced radio producer with an understanding of pre-recorded and live radio production 5 to 10 years + experience leading a high level, live or pre-recorded radio production preferred 5 to 10 years + experience partnering with radio hosts required, preference for experience working with a variety of different hosts and artists Demonstrated experience working with high-level talent and artists Experience acting as the point of contact for key cross functional relationships including PR & Marketing Ability to develop show outlines, story arcs, and conduct required research and prep; must also have the ability to adapt content to fit the voice of the host or talent they are working with Reliable, trustworthy and excellent editorial judgement Creative and able to continuously source or generate ideas Technically confident in a studio, with full mastery of the end-to-end technical process, must possess a readiness to learn about emerging technologies or new equipment Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to motivate, lead, and inspire the team and talent they work with Excellent communication, planning and time management and skills to ensure productions run to time Calm under pressure particularly in a studio environment Able to work quickly and efficiently without compromising quality Flexible and understanding with talent, guests, contributors and change overall Strong writing skills for speech and platform Curious, a fascination with music, people and a love of story-telling Description Description Planning
Long-lead production planning
Ensuring key business priorities & Artist campaigns are being supported across assigned shows
Manage administrative functions for a team: planners, calendars, studio bookings, recording sessions and internal trackers
Implement new show features and formats to shows
Confident at communicating with Talent and show team, as well as internal cross-functional teams
Pre-Production
Schedule music for the show and share with Technical producer
Research program music (write notes on selected songs) and guest appearances (co-ordinate)
Write background notes and interview questions for guests (including editorial asks) Write scripts for shows and editorial
Populate the show episode tracker
Work with the Artist Relations team to book guests for shows
Work with cross-functional teams across Design, Imaging and PR
Live Broadcast/Show Taping
Be present in person or via video call for broadcasts and tapings of shows, talk breaks, interviews
Direct broadcast and taping
Ensure adherence to Apple Music and broadcast standards and requirements
Coach and manage talent
Music logs
Post Production
Update the show episode tracker
Quality check audio and video assets before sharing with Artist teams and Talent Gather broadcast details & social handle info to send to artists that feature on the episode
Supply assets to PR and Marketing and Social teams

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $116,900.00 and $221,100.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
