Truly all the music you love, all in one place. Apple Music Radio is in search of a skilled Music Mix Producer to create and deliver high level audio content for the Apple Music platform. The Music Mix Producer will work collaboratively with Music Editorial, Radio Production managers and Radio Content Producers to build and deliver music mixes across a broad spectrum of musical genres. The Music Mix Producer will be responsible for tracking, review and delivery of externally sourced music mixes. They will ensure all mixes ladder back to the editorial strategy as well as meet Apple quality standards. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Highly skilled producer with deep understanding of music mix production with proficiency in digital audio software (Ableton Live, Logic Pro) and established production techniques (seamless transitions, beat matching and audio FX). Minimum of 5 years experience creating music mixes in a wide range of musical genres for a broadcast environment. Experience mixing in a live broadcast studio environment including equipment setup and operations: CDJs, audio mixer, studio play-out system, effects processors. Works quickly and efficiently without compromising quality. Creative, able to regularly generate and implement fresh ideas. Able to juggle multiple projects without compromising deadlines. Experienced collaborating and communicating cross-functionally. Excellent planning and time management skills. Broad knowledge of music and technology. Displays a passion for learning and implementing new production tools and technology. Description Description Create high quality music mixes for broadcast and on-demand listening. Collaborate and innovate with Radio Content producers on mixes required for Apple Music Radio shows and programs. Collaborate with Music Editorial Programming team to create music mixes based on Apple Music playlists. Exercise independent editorial judgment informed by overall Apple Music editorial strategy. Work cross-functionally to finalize and deliver externally sourced mixes. Responsible for technical delivery of all mixes including quality assurance, metadata, cue sheets and all related deliverables. Ensure audio deliverables meet required editorial and technical specifications for broadcast, on-demand and DJ Mix products. Work closely with studio engineering teams for live broadcasts and pre-records requiring live music mixing. Identify areas for enhancement and innovation in production processes. There may be additional responsibilities in this role. Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $116,900.00 and $221,100.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
