Job DescriptionWhere you’ll work: Anywhere within HungaryDevOps at GoToWe are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about building, operating and maintaining multiple product infrastructures in the cloud (AWS, Oracle cloud and Azure) with the knowledge of various technologies, platforms, tools, and architectures, from Linux to Windows Servers, AWS to Oracle. In this role, you will work as part of the DevOps Team to build and support a sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure. Your Day to DayAs a Senior DevOps Engineer, you would be working onWork with a strong team of enthusiastic and talented experts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Build, operate, maintain, and improve GoTo’s application infrastructure in AWS, Oracle cloud, and Azure.Take part in designing and automating a robust provisioning process for environment setups and hybrid-cloud based solutions based on IaC (Terraform) Design and build our next generation build and deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps) Lead configuration management automation efforts for both server and application parts (Octopus, Ansible).Work with architects and security experts to ensure services are secure. Participate in On-call rotations, troubleshoot and fix critical issues in the production environments, deliver solution, and provide root cause analysis while recommending, influencing, and implementing solutions to operational problems. Support the product development teams in design, development, and troubleshooting. Continuously document processes and author user guides for an expanding infrastructure. Creating infrastructure requirement documents and system maps for the auto-scaling of applications deployed in our datacenters. Work closely and synchronize with other teams across GoTo to follow standards and improve technical processes. Have ownership of initiatives and driving them through to completion, including knowing the difference between project and interrupt driven tiering of work. What We’re Looking ForAs a Senior DevOps Engineer, your background will look likeSolid operational knowledge of Windows Server (2016 and newer) and Linux/Ubuntu operating systems Solid operational knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Oracle cloud or Azure Strong MSSQL knowledge Experience with one or more of the following: PowerShell, Python, Bash, JSON, and REST APIs. 4+ years of Infrastructure and Application operation experience in distributed production systems Experience with Active Directory, GPO, DNS, Networks, VPCs and IIS Experience in designing the monitoring infrastructure with commercial or open-source monitoring systems (e.g., Splunk, LogicMonitor, Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, etc.), knowing logging standards, self-healing applications and providing Availability as a Service Fluent English knowledge, able to communicate complex ideas in English. What you will master with us Complex hybrid-cloud based solutions.Enterprise-level infrastructure design (security, scalability, reliability) .Infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as a Code Creating and maintaining a self-healing environment      You’ll be working towards a shared goal with an open-minded and cohesive team that is very much the sum of its parts.
