The Seller Experience team focuses on end-to-end digital experiences for our sellers, making it seamless to list, sell and grow a thriving business with eBay. Our Sellers are at the center of everything we do, and our product, engineering and design teams obsess over building best-in-class experiences that our eBay seller community loves.About the Opportunity: We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, who is passionate about the technical platform and related APIs/services and who will drive new innovative features to support the needs from various seller listing tools. The candidate should be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and have experience defining requirements, driving cross team collaboration, and communicating with executives. In this role, you will work with product managers, engineers, user researchers, designers, and analytics teams to define solutions and make data-driven decisions. This person will be responsible for driving the features for the listing platform and Selling APIs at eBay which is the heart of the majority of seller listings. What You Will Do: Own and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Listing platform and the Seller APIs at eBayDrive the modernization related aspects of the platform including solutions to build new services (working with Engineering) focussing on metrics like platform efficiency, scalability, API modernization etc.Translate product strategy into clear and concise specifications, make functional and user interface design tradeoffs, handle product launches, and lead the product successes post-launchData driven product decisions with a balance of near-term deliverables and longer-term investment in technology platformsCommunicate strategies and trade-offs up to senior leaders and down to development teamsPut the customer first, understand market specific nuances, and identify search algo improvements to address unique search-specific needsDrive collaboration across multiple teams to ensure teams are aligned and are working towards solving customer problemsDrive A/B testing to identify launch candidates that improve organizational goalsWhat You Will Bring: 5+ years with a strong track record of product management experience3+ years of experience focussed in platform and/or technical product management is a must!Experience working with API portfolio, API platform preferred.Experience in the Ecommerce industry preferredA proven track record building new, innovative, and engaging customer experiences informed by customer data from various sources (market research, A/B testing, user research)Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive decision makingDemonstrated leadership ability, self-motivated and directed, entrepreneurial ability to innovate quicklyPlease see the Talent Privacy Notice for information regarding how eBay handles your personal data collected when you use the eBay Careers website or apply for a job with eBay.eBay is an equal opportunity employer.
