Job Requisition ID #24WD77615Position OverviewThe Revenue Accounting Team is responsible for revenue recognition and reporting for Autodesk worldwide. The Revenue Analyst will work closely with the Revenue Manager providing deal support to the business for large Enterprise contracts in addition to traditional revenue accounting tasks. This position will perform monthly and quarterly close activities for revenue, reconcile and validate revenue, prepare required journal entries, analyze data, and prepare reports for auditors and management. In addition, the position will also assist with process re-engineering and system enhancement projects within the order to cash cycle.At Autodesk, we offer employees flexible, hybrid work arrangements.ResponsibilitiesPerform deal and contract reviews to ensure adherence with revenue recognition principlesPerform account analyses and reconciliations for revenue and deferred revenue related accounts on a worldwide basisPrepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts on a worldwide basisWork closely with international locations as needed to obtain information necessary to analyze deals and reconcile accountsResponsible for the preparation of quarterly audit schedules and prepare periodic reports to support internal and external reporting requirementsImplement and document processes and procedures as required including Sarbanes Oxley complianceSupport and participate on companywide projects for revenue accounting as well as order to cash cyclesMinimum QualificationsB.S. Degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA preferred but not required3-5+ years of revenue or general accounting experienceExcellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills.
