On this position, you will report to Senior Manager, Software Development in Toronto, Ontario, and you will play a significant role in building core components and services for the next generation of APS (Autodesk Platform Services), which powers Autodesk SaaS applications in industries of manufacturing, architecture, engineering and construction, media and entertainment with efficient and flexible data management capabilities.This role is hybrid. Autodesk supports FLEX working model.Over 10 million professionals in 185 countries are using Autodesk products to save time and money, gain competitive advantage, and change the way ideas are brought to life.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Engineering teams, Product Managers and Software Architects to shape technical solutions to manage product data for business objectivesImplement the tech solutions in iterations from design, to code, testing and deployment with engineering disciplines for resiliency, scalability and security complianceEnsure standards, processes, and best practices are efficient, and documentedCollaborate with partners to understand requirements, understand use cases and build towards a cohesive technical strategyCommunicate tech solutions and project status with your partnersWork with SRE to guarantee the SLOs (Service Level Objectives)Improve system performance with optimizationsTrouble shoot and fix customer reported issuesParticipate in on-call rotationMinimum QualificationsBS. or MS. degree in Computer Science or related technical field5+ years of software development experience, at least 3 years with service developmentSolid programming skills with Java and Node.js for service developmentTrouble shooting and performance tuning skillsExperience of large-scale software system developmentExperience in Continuous Delivery methodologies and toolsHands-on knowledge in building SaaS or PaaS solutions on AWSHands-on knowledge in Web CAD or computer graphicsCollaboration skills and teamwork spiritLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
