Job Summary:Company: Academy Music GroupDepartment: Finance Location: Brixton, LondonReports to: Senior Financial AccountantWorking Hours: Full time, 40 hours per weekContract Type: PermanentRole DescriptionThe Financial Accountant plays an important part in the day-to-day running and management of the Finance department of Academy Music Group. Requiring a high level of attention to detail, the role manages the Capex process from a financial perspective, as well as other significant balance sheet accounts. This role also manages the Capex & Ticketing Accountant directly and supports the Senior Financial Accountant in reviewing Accounts Assistants’ work. Our TeamThe team comprises approximately 18 individuals with a wealth of experience working within Academy Music Group/Live Nation and other organisations. Whilst the role has ownership of specific functions, the emphasis within the Finance department is on teamwork. The smooth running of the department, and the company, is dependent on all individuals focusing on team goals as well as individual. This is particularly important around tight deadlines, at month end, and year end.
