NVIDIA is looking for an excellent and passionate Firmware Design student to take part in developing the next generation powerful Switch products in the FW ethernet core group. This role offers you an outstanding opportunity to participate in the development process of NVIDIA groundbreaking and innovating chips, enjoy working in a meaningful, growing and highly professional environment where you will make a huge impact in a technology-focused company.What you'll be doing:Design and implement various Firmware features in the Ethernet switch.Debug and bring solutions to complex problems, while working closely with SW and verification teams.Collaborating frequently with Firmware and Hardware Architecture teams as part of the day to day work, and impact the next ASIC generations silicon.Working on various development environments, involving both pre-silicon work on emulations, and post silicon work on real platforms.What we need to see:Student of Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / SW EngineeringProgramming knowledge in C, AssemblyUnderstanding of data structures and algorithms fundamentals.Good system viewKnowledge of networkingIndependent and self-learnerRemaining studies of at least two full semesters An official and updated grade sheet (in Word or PDF format, includes the GPA) Ways to stand out from the crowd:Hands-on related experience from university/private projectMotivation to learn and constantly improve processes and toolsKnowledge of real-time SW, RTOSs, Object OrientedScripting abilities (Python, Bash)Knowledge in logic design and silicon production processesNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
