Technical SpecialistDescription -What a Technical Specialist (Repair & Maintenance Technician) does at HP:Support manufacturing maintenance activities – equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration and participate in new product introduction qualification.Troubleshoot equipment failures effectively and independently with a high degree of technical competence.Execute timely & thorough preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment operate within design specifications.Implement modification projects to improve equipment reliability and performances.Maintain required level of spares and proper documentation on all assigned equipment.Provide first line maintenance and support.Carry out work activities with strict adherence to all standards (e.g. ISO9K, ISO14K, ISO18K) set by the company.Liaise with vendors either in Singapore or other countries for part sourcing and fabrication.Identify areas of improvement and implement projects to enhance equipment reliability, uptime, and utilization.Work closely with process and product engineers on the product characterization and qualifications as pre-requisite for Manufacturing Release. Drive Smart manufacturing initiatives like IIOT, 3D printing, Robotic, Digitalization.Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Superior.Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:Diploma or higher Nitec / Nitec in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering, with 3 years relevant experience in manufacturing environment.Hands-on skillset in the field of mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering.Knowledge in Robotics, Microsoft office Power Apps will be an added advantage.Experience working in Class 1000 cleanroom environment.Good teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.Able to work effectively under challenging circumstances and independently with minimal supervision.Able to work 12-hour day-night rotating shift.Sustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
