A solid understanding of Commercial Law and Public Procurement gained through previous experience in Private Practice or In-house is desirable for this role.Your ResponsibilitiesProvide solid, pragmatic, and timely legal advice on commercial and public procurement matters, in line with the business priorities and the department objectivesDraft, review and negotiate a wide range of transactional agreements including commercial and in-bound agreements, evaluation agreements, and contracts for public tendersAnticipate and proactively support the prevention and management of legal risks including actively advising on transactional risks, such as reputational, and commercial risk and long-term commitments associated with compliance and other policy mattersSupport with legal research and project tasks for the benefit of the wider legal team and internal clientsManaging and advising on outbound and inbound commercial transactions and contractsSupport the commercial or wider legal team in day-to-day, high-value, and high-visibility matters.Required ExperienceA law degree and solid academic credentialsCurrent license to practice as a solicitor/lawyer in England & Wales, Netherlands, Germany, Austria or SwitzerlandProfessional proficiency in German and English is required, other foreign language skills preferred but not requiredA strong understanding of commercial law and some transactional experience is requiredWell organized and proactive.
