You will be therefore exposed to matters ranging from Commercial, Public Procurement, Regulatory, IP, Compliance, Employment, Competition, Litigation and Privacy. We will offer the possibility to complete a 3-month contentious secondment in a reputable law firm, as part of your training.Your ResponsibilitiesProviding legal assistance to commercial and corporate attorneysAssembling, proofing and editing contracts, templates, communications, corporate documents and policiesConducting legal research and drafting memos as instructed by senior attorneysPreparing and filing legal documents with appropriate authoritiesReviewing and ensuring the company's compliance with rules and regulationsApplying the law, company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issuesWorking on assignments of moderate scope where problem solving requires application of learned techniquesBuilding excellent working relationships internally and externallyExercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.Why youWe are looking for highly motivated and driven candidates with strong work ethic, intellectual, analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and organisational skills. You should be able to demonstrate attention to detail, resilience, teamwork, a passion for law and dedication to succeed in the legal profession.Requirements for Traditional/Training Contract PathwayA-Levels (or equivalent e.g. international baccalaureate)Qualifying law degree (LLB) or Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL)Legal Practice Course (LPC) - you can apply even if you haven’t completed the LPC.Requirements for Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) PathwayA-Levels (or equivalent e.g. international baccalaureate)DegreeSQE Part 1 (some level of legal training is required and so if you haven’t completed an LLB or the GDL, ideally you would have passed the SQE Part 1).General requirements Solid academic credentialsSome legal experience preferred (e.g. one or more years as a paralegal or contracts specialist in a law firm, in-house legal team or similar)Foreign language skills preferred but not required.LocationPossibility of onsite or hybrid with an office location in Cambridge, UK.What can you expect:Our team members are bright, energetic and dedicated - they are the driving force behind our innovation and impact.
