Because they are independent of scale, they have served us well from our early days as a startup through today as the fastest-growing, independent identity and access management (IAM) provider.SailPoint's finance team plays a crucial role in providing support, guidance and collaboration across all organizations within the company to aid in SailPoint's mission to continue to remain an innovative presence in the cybersecurity world.Our Technical Accounting team is looking for a Senior Manager to own the technical accounting process including revenue recognition.  This is a highly visible position within the business, that will give you hands-on experience across emerging technical accounting issues for the company.  We are looking for a highly motivated, eager to learn individual who can help streamline and improve our processes as we grow and scale.ResponsibilitiesAssist with research and preparation of technical accounting memosEnsure revenue accounting policies are documented and applied consistentlyReview software agreements and ensure proper revenue recognition treatmentSupport stand-alone selling price analysisDraft financial statement disclosures related to revenueManage SOX compliance for Revenue related itemsWork closely with external auditors to manage technical accounting topics in the annual audit processEnsure internal controls regarding technical accounting areas are adequate and operating effectivelyParticipate in monthly/quarterly financial close review meetings to ensure appropriate accounting of transactions and accurate external reportingParticipate in special projects and ad hoc requests as neededRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited universityCPA and public accounting experience required (Big 4 preferred)7-10 years' accounting experience within Technical Accounting and Revenue RecognitionStrong knowledge of US GAAP and Software Revenue RecognitionExperience/familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and documentationSoftware industry experience preferredAbility to work closely with managementCommitment to all reporting and audit deadlinesExceptional organizational skills, project management experience to include management of large-scale/global initiativesCompensation & Benefits ListExperience a Small-company Atmosphere with Big-company BenefitsCompetitive pay, 401(k) and comprehensive medical, dental and vision plansRecharge your batteries with a flexible vacation policy and paid holidaysGrow with us with both technical and career growth opportunitiesEnjoy a healthy work-life balance with flexible hours, family-friendly company events and charitable workWhy should you join our crew?SailPoint provides a small-company atmosphere with big-company benefits such as competitive pay, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plans, paid holidays, flexible vacation policy, along with great technical and career growth opportunities.
