Working directly with leaders and colleagues across the business, this individual will develop and deliver global communication strategies and plans in support of People team and other global functions' programs.The person in this role is committed to high quality and innovative communication. They must have the expertise to develop, deliver and target messaging to a broad audience. A deep understanding and aim to foster a richly diverse, equitable and fearlessly inclusive culture through impactful communication is critical.Reporting to and working closely with the director leading global functions' communications, they will support People programs to help deliver seamless, accessible and engaging communications in a complex environment. The goal of this role will be to effectively manage annual process lifecycle communications while reducing complexity and maximizing impact.This is a hands-on role that requires a communicator who will both conceive and implement the communications strategy and tactical elements.What you will accomplish: Develop and implement global employee communication strategies and tactics in support of annual process lifecycle communications and programs that drive cultural change, engagement and employee wellbeing.Drive employee connection to our purpose, the role we play in the world, our strategic vision, beliefs and ways of working, and to their leaders and each other. Align communication strategies, plans and activities to tell a cohesive story across the entire employee lifecycle.Leverage a wide range of internal communications channels and tactics to inform, educate, and engage eBayers. What you will bring:Shows expertise in developing and delivering impactful messages. Able to rapidly weigh all factors and complexities in guiding and influencing message development.Excels at verbal, written, digital communications; ability to achieve cut through with a succinct, approachable communication style.Work with communications partners across all businesses to understand employee audiences, adapting communications strategies to address unique needs.Keen understanding of innovative and best practice communication channels, methodology and measurement.Practiced capacity to handle complex projects with multiple partners using influencing skills.Brings a business outcomes approach to communications work.7+ years of employee communications experience supporting human resources programs. Bachelor’s required – preferably in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.$126,800 - $187,550Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
