We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours! The Opportunity: The Trade Operations Analyst will work with the Trade Operations group involved in the following areas: Export Regulations, Import Regulations, Customs Regulations, Trade, Logistics, for both international and domestic shipping. The Trade Operations group handles carriers, freight forwarders and brokers worldwide, coordinates critical shipments as well as shipments that may be delayed during the customs clearance process anywhere in the world. Corporate Trade Operations ensures Adobe follows U.S. export regulations for shipments originating domestically and internationally.The Trade Operations Analyst will receive direction from and work closely with the Manager Worldwide Trade Operations and team headquartered in San Jose, California.The Trade Operations Analyst will be encouraged to tackle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently to resolve them. Additionally, they must develop knowledge of the different functional groups within Adobe and be able to support their business needs. A major part of supporting business needs involves ensuring established processes and procedures account for the implications of noncompliance, as it relates to the interpretation and application of import and export laws and regulations governing the movement of Adobe’s software product, business, and personal shipments. The Trade Operations Analyst will follow all standard operating procedures and suggest process improvement opportunities as they present themselves.What you'll do: Perform Denied Parties Screening to align with U.S. export and other legal requirementsWorldwide import/export clearance supportCommercial Invoice ReviewUpdate and maintain SOP's and Internal Compliance ManualWork with key business partners such as Order Management, Procurement, Legal, eCommerce to ensure compliance with new business initiativesRepresent Trade Operations on cross functional teams as neededPerform periodic risk assessment to identify gaps in processes, drive automation and improve processes wherever possibleReviews and approves freight payablesHandles loss and damages claimsVendor and Broker managementWhat you need to succeed: BA/BS or proven experience in fast paced environmentKnowledge of U.S. Export Laws and RegulationsExperience working with domestic and international freight forwardersExperience with SAP GTS or similar Export Management System a plusExperience with Harmonized Tariff Schedule and essentials of import and export activitiesProject Management skills a plusSoftware industry experience beneficialExperience with global, multinational companiesExperience working with a geographically dispersed team beneficialProven flexibility in dynamic environments and ability to adapt to shifting prioritiesStrong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skillsGood written communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of an organizationGood written and spoken English requiredOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $54,400 -- $106,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
