The e2open Material Planner plays an important role in ensuring operational success for the supply chain organization at Sonos. The Material Planner, will be responsible for proactive material readiness, reporting on availability, and visibility at a product level impacts, and overall administrator of Sonos Material Planning System e2open. This role needs to be interacting with the GSM team, planning team, operation team and Contract Manufacturers to manage demand and supply and the primary point of contact for all things e2open in supporting of Sonos cross functional teams. You will take a proactive approach to identifying operational supply interruptions, ensuring and validate accurate reporting for e2open MPS systems while working and at times leading a x-functional team to resolve, and be the champion for aligned for a single source of truth in material status. This role will be primarily based in AsiaSuperuser, and Subject Matter Expert administrator of Sonos Material Planning overseeing e2open MPS executionDeep understanding of MRP systems, troubleshooting and coordinating with e2open and functions within Sonos for data integrity and ensuring alignment Overlooking overall material status working with the MPM team in China and US Work with GSM team members, material planners, and x-functional teams to ensure clear to build and supply of componentsPartner with the CM to review material requirements and flow details including inventories Execute and validate material allocation strategies between factories, lines and productsDeliver clear-to-build status, material coverage, run-out reports and other analyses as needed to plan production and business targets supporting the S&OP processProvide data-driven decision support to the broader organization through what-if and scenario planningHaving expertise on each commodity, proactively mitigate the risk of supply Good understanding of urgency and escalate critical issues in a timely mannerIdentify E&O risk of material, develop material recommendations as well as execute actions to meet target inventory and service level goals while minimizing costs and obsolescenceWhat You'll NeedBasic Qualifications:BS/BA degree Minimum 5+ years work experience in a Material planning role, 8+ Years in Supply Chain Ability to use data to do the problem solvingAdvanced Excel skillsProficient Google Suite Skills (Sheets, docs, Slides etc)Strong analytical Detail oriented thinking skillsStrong knowledge of MRP/ERP Systems, exposure to e2openSolid understand of discrete manufacturing, bills of material, product lifecycle management, and supply chain operationsExcellent English communication/presentation skillsAbility to effectively work in multicultural global business environmentAbility to work in multinational environments, and flex with different timezones Proven experience in working closely with both internal and external customers Preferred Qualifications:Experience in forecasting or demand planning Experience in supply chain managementExperience in e2open Supply Planning, and collaboration toolsExperience in consumer electronic industry/ High tech Working knowledge in CM/ EMS preferred Experience working with Asia based CMAny sourcing system experience is a plus Your profile will be reviewed and you'll hear from us once we have an update.
