Essential FunctionsBilling and InvoicingGenerate accurate and timely customer invoices based on contract terms, subscription plans, or usage data for review. Verify the completeness and accuracy of invoice information, including billing rates, discounts, and taxes.Review customer billing schedules against contracts stored in CRM platform to ensure accuracy, and escalate issues appropriately. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.Accounts Receivable ManagementMonitor and track customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices. Review and reconcile customer accounts regularly to identify and resolve any outstanding balances, disputes, or discrepancies.Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, collections activities, and payment history.Collection and Cash ApplicationCollaborate with collections team to understand and resolve customer disputes or billing inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.Apply customer payments accurately to the appropriate customer accounts and invoices. Financial Reporting and AnalysisSupport preparation of reports on accounts receivable aging, collections, and cash flow for management review. Review customer payment patterns for trends to identify potential risks or opportunities. Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable function.Compliance and DocumentationCollaborate with the cross functional team to support month-end close process, account reconciliations, audits and financial reporting requirements.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain proper documentation of customer contracts, invoices, and payment records.May support process enhancements by reviewing, creating, and updating standard operating procedures and other internal training resources.QualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related area and 0-2 years in accounts receivable experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of accounting and accounts receivable processes and principles Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements Knowledge of accounting software, MS Office, specifically Excel, and other relevant tools Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Well organized to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Customer-centric mindset with a focus on providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to work both independently and as a team member Strong written and verbal communication skills DesiredEnterprise accounting system experience, specifically NetSuite Enterprise customer relationship management system experience, specifically SalesforcenCino retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position as business operations require.
