We hold an annual Dodgeball for Charity event at our Q2 Stadium in Austin, inviting other local companies to play, and community organizations we support to raise money and awareness together.BA responsibilities:Q2 is seeking a Business Analyst reporting to an Implementations Delivery Manager and working closely with Implementation Engineers, Solution Architects, Product Managers, and the Development team prior to the engagement of the primary project team. This Business Analyst will engage directly with Client to ensure expectations are set prior to project start, that all collateral has been received from the Client to ensure smooth delivery, and that the technical goals of the project have been appropriately determined.  You will be exposed to a highly customizable product on multiple platforms that are configured/engineered differently for each customer.  Must be exceptionally detail-oriented, process driven and an energetic self-starter who can work independently and in a group setting. RESPONSIBILITIES:Partner with client and internal project resources to complete tasks in a timely mannerWork closely with the client and internal team to problem solve issues that arise.Understand business requirements the configuration dutiesTrain and educate clients on the product and configuration optionsExperience managing client expectations with a Client first attitude and commitment to satisfactionAbility to organize and execute multi-facet software deploymentsCapable of assessing project risks and mitigationsAbility to convey technical concepts to business oriented banking project teams and interact with technical internal resources Possess project leadership qualitiesStrong written and oral communication skills with excellent people and teamwork skillsPossess project leadership qualitiesStrong written and oral communication skills with excellent people and teamwork skillsAbility to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditionsAttention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast paced environmentEXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.Strong MS SQL skillsSome knowledge of HTML helpfulExperience with Python and other scripting languages is helpfulFamiliarity with iOS and Android mobile applications platforms helpfulAttention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentA relentlessly positive dispositionExcellent people and teamwork skills with a drive for ownership of activities with a focus on successful completion.Ability to train individuals 1-on-1 and in a classroom environmentThe ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditionsStrong written and oral communication skills including communication of technical concepts to non-technical individualsFinancial Services and Enterprise Software experience beneficial but not requiredFinancial Services experience strongly preferredExperience in technical requirements gathering requiredThis position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
