About the Job
The US-based salary range for this position is $168,418 to $193,258. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
What You’ll Do
Work with stakeholders for crafting test strategies and test plans.
Define, design, and deliver tools and automation framework for our backend systems.
Create end-to-end, cross cloud-impacting, integration automation (API and UI) with complex orgs.
Manually run test cases for new backend features
Automate new test cases for features under test.
Work with stakeholders to develop test project plans for the features under test.
Analyze the current automation framework and determine what can be improved upon.
Analyze the current testing software development lifecycle and present improvement ideas.
Be a strong quality advocate, collaborating closely with software engineers, designers, and product managers for backend testability and design.
Monitor product and/or feature-level quality health metrics (testability, test health, test coverage, etc.).
Write Proof of Concepts for new automation tooling and infrastructure.
Present findings to senior staff on shift left test policies and implementations.
Train staff on how to use the automation frameworks and tooling you have implemented.
May telecommute.
What We’re Looking For
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, and 5 years or progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a Sr. SDET Engineer-related occupation.
