Summary Posted: Apr 9, 2024 Role Number: 200546705 The Health Sensing Hardware team is looking for a highly-motivated engineer to work with research scientists and engineers on the next generation of health sensors. We play a key role in conceiving, modeling, and prototyping new sensor solutions and bringing a new sensor to a successful product launch. This role requires engineering excellence, creativity, and the ability to lead multi-functional collaboration. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Deep understanding of EE, ME, and Physics fundamentals Experience modeling, building, and testing sophisticated systems Proven excellence crafting sensors and/or EE systems in an industry/mass-production environment Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or equivalent simulation languages Ability to work independently, to take leadership of engineering activities, and to align efforts across teams Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills Experience with the following is a plus: Health sensor design (e.g., optical, electrical, thermal, etc) Temperature sensing and thermal characterization Statistical analysis Description Description Our team defines the architecture of new health sensors. We use analytical methods, computer modeling, and experimental data to define a design that achieve design goals.
In particular, you will develop comprehensive models to guarantee performance; identify figures of merit critical to user experience; assess and negotiate design tradeoffs; author requirements specifications; build proof of concept hardware; design user studies for performance assessment; analyze and reconcile study or production data with model predictions; perform failure analysis, identify root causes and propose corrective actions; and provide leadership and clear technical updates to the broader team and executives.

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
